The OECD's Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) is an international comparative student assessment aimed at answersing questions with regards to how well 15-year-olds are prepared to face the reading, mathematics and science literacy related challenges towards the end of compulsory education.
PISA is implemented in Hungary by the Department of Assessment and Evaluation at the Educational Authority (formerly known as the The Center for Evaluation Studies). The Department of Assessment and Evaluation of the Educational Authority of Hungary has released "PISA 2006: Executive Summary - Today’s Education and Tomorrow’s Society" by Ildikó Balázsi, László Ostorics & Balázs Szalay.
A set of sample items was released as well, these are to showcase the types of tasks students had to perform on the 2006 PISA study.
